The industry is comprised of over one million skilled and licensed cosmetologists and over 200,000 full-service beauty salons in the U.S., whose service is requested by millions of Americans every day! There are numerous positions which licensed cosmetologists hold, such as hair stylists, colorists, beauticians, educators, stage artists, nail technicians, salon owners and managers, beauty supply distributors, health club managers, beauty consultants and make-up specialists, to name a few. The cosmetology industry is an especially large and growing industry, which bears the right to be publicly admired.
